Terms of use

This is the end-user licence agreement for the Mailglade add-on for Thunderbird, published on addons.thunderbird.net.

Installing the add-on means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install it.

What you may do

Mailglade is free. You may install and use it on any computer you control, for anything you like, at home or at work, for as long as you want. You may uninstall it at any time, and uninstalling ends these terms.

What stays with the author

Kayhan holds the copyright in Mailglade. You may not sell it, rent it, or publish a copy of it under another name. You may not publish a changed version of it.

Parts written by other people

Some files in the add-on are other people's work, used under their own licences. The add-on carries those licences with it, in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt beside the add-on's own files. Where one of those licences gives you a right, that licence governs that file, and nothing here takes the right away.

Your mail

Mailglade reads the folders you choose and stores what it reads on your own computer. It makes no network request and sends nothing anywhere. The privacy policy says what it keeps and where.

No warranty

Mailglade is given as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Nobody promises that it works, that it keeps working, that it finds every message, or that it suits any particular purpose. Keep the backups of your mail that you would keep anyway.

No liability

As far as the law allows, the author is not liable for any loss or damage that follows from using Mailglade, including lost time, lost data or lost mail. Some laws give you rights that an agreement cannot remove, and this does not try to remove them.

Changes

A later version can come with different terms. Thunderbird shows them to you before you install that version, and the terms you accepted stay with the version you have.
